🦪 Make It a Bloody Oyster!

The ultimate Maine-style shooter with Linda Di’s Bloody Mary Mix

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet. Linda Di’s In The Bag Bloody Mary Cocktail Mix.

  • 6 ounces water

  • 3 ounces vodka, if desired, if not, increase the water by 2 ounces.

  • 1/2 dozen Maine grown oysters, cleaned and shucked on the half shell with their liquor. 🦪

  • Lemon wedges for garnish 🍋

  • 6 small shooter glasses

Directions:

Mix the bloody mary mix with 6 ounces of water. Add 3 ounces of vodka, if desired.

Pour about halfway up shooter glass. Top with an oyster.

To Enjoy: Slide the oyster and its juices into the shooter glass and toss it back! Some may like to eat the oyster first and then take the shot - to each his own!

This may seem a little weird, but I’ve got this small silicone funnel that I use to fill the shot glasses so it isn’t messy. However, this does not prevent messes due to poor execution when slurping the shooter - all part of the fun! Linda
